    Position Summary

    • Provides high-level administrative support to Department Director and the Department as a whole.
    • Other position-related tasks, as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for carrying out high-level administrative services on behalf of Director, senior management team and Department as a whole.
    • Oversees management of the Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, setting agendas, prepping materials, transcribing meeting notes, and calendaring follow-up tasks and meetings as required.
    • Implements processes for collecting and synthesizing information for analysis, reporting and decision-making by Director and senior management.
    • Provides support to the Director and staff in specialized aspects of constituent relationship care, including assistance with individual outreach, solicitation proposals, stewardship reports, special projects, and campaign related activities. 
    • Assists Operations Manager in ensuring that the workflow, project management, donor data management, and document filing systems are operating at an optimal level and that standard operating procedures are properly documented as the department grows.
    • Assists Operations Manager with the Department’s employee and volunteer recruiting, onboarding and training processes.
    • Manages Director and staff travel planning, office supply ordering, reconciliation of monthly credit card expense forms, and maintaining of Department’s marketing and other outreach or engagement related materials.
    • Helps maintain general organization of Department.
    • Responsible to follow SRF’s policies and established processes.
    • Other position-related tasks, as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum three plus years work experience in an executive-level administrative support role, preferably in a fundraising/development department.
    • Relevant experience in a nonprofit, multicultural, and/or global organization preferred.
    • Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information effectively both orally and in writing and to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
    • Excellent written, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with SRF leadership, team members, donors, and volunteers at a variety of levels with integrity and professionalism.
    • Ability to be a forward‐thinker that takes a proactive approach to problem‐solving. Must show initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail with the ability to manage and follow through on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
    • Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs quickly and easily.
    • Must be highly resourceful and work collaboratively in a strong team environment in a virtual office setting while also working independently.
    • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of software applications like the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics, etc.), donor databases, giving platforms, and project management software.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to SRF’s mission and core values.

    Additional Details

    This position is remote. Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of the SRF International Headquarters in LA or the SRF Bay Area Temple in the SF Bay Area.

    Required Travel: 0 – 20%

    Salary Range: $31.06 - $32.69 per hour
