SRF Books Win Prestigious Latino Literary Awards

Two books from Self-Realization Fellowship recently received honors at the 22nd annual International Latino Book Awards, the largest Latino literary and cultural awards event in the U.S.

The Portuguese edition of Paramahansa Yogananda’s God Talks with Arjuna: The Bhagavad Gita, Vol. 1, was awarded first place for Best Book: Nonfiction in Portuguese.

And the Spanish edition of God Alone: The Life and Letters of a Saint by Sri Gyanamata, one of Paramahansa Yogananda’s earliest and foremost disciples, was awarded first place for Best Spiritual Book and first place for Best Nonfiction Translation from English to Spanish.

Since the inception of these international awards, Self-Realization Fellowship has received twenty-seven honors — eighteen awards for works in Spanish, and nine for works in Portuguese. All of these books were singled out from among numerous other titles from leading publishers around the world.
