Welcome to this photo essay of visits to SRF members and friends around the world made by Self-Realization Fellowship monastics this fall.
The monks and nuns conduct a wide variety of inspirational events, including Kriya initiation ceremonies, lectures and classes on the “how-to-live” teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, weekend retreat programs, group meditations, kirtan devotional chanting, answering spiritual questions in satsanga, and providing individual spiritual counseling.

São Paulo, Brazil

Sydney, Australia
Brothers Saralananda and Jitananda joined SRF members in Sydney, Australia November 11 – 13, where they conducted a weekend program that included a Kriya Yoga initiation ceremony.

The final event concludes with the showing of a video that contains original film footage of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Campinas, Brazil
Brother Prafullananda and Brahmachari Roberto dedicate the chapel of the SRF Campinas Meditation Circle in Campinas, Brazil, on November 10.
The monks are presented with a plaque commemorating the dedication, which will be presented to SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda.

Armação Retreat, Brazil

Practice of the Energization Exercises
The monastics accompany SRF members on a pilgrimage to the Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, the final resting place of Rajarsi Janakananda — beloved disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda who served as second president of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India from 1952 until his passing in 1955.
Boston and Philadelphia
Brother Nikhilananda and Brahmachari Bhaskarananda also visited members in Boston in October.
The monks then traveled to Philadelphia....
