Position Summary

  • Under general supervision, define and manage the implementation of product strategies for SRF’s digital offerings, aligning them with the organization's broader outreach strategy.
  • In alignment with Outreach strategy, develop clear product visions, goals, scoping, and differentiated digital experiences that support people on their spiritual journey.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of product strategies for SRF’s digital offerings, aligning them with the organization's broader outreach strategy and internal department services. 
  • Direct the end-to-end user experience strategy and design process, exercising discretion and independent judgement. 
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to achieving outreach and engagement objectives, ensuring cohesive strategies.
  • Manage and execute product roadmaps, coordinating key functions such as UX, engineering, growth, and engagement to deliver meaningful digital experiences that support the people’s spiritual journey. Define requirements and prioritize features.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractors and internal departments. Communicate product plans, updates, and performance metrics, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders. 
  • Conduct comprehensive journey mapping for both new users and existing members.
  • Identify which phases of the user journey each digital product addresses, ensuring alignment with user needs and aspirations. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and contractors to conduct usability testing. Ensure that product features meet user needs and enhance services to members and other audiences. 
  • Establish product analytics targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 
  • Responsible to follow SRF’s policies and established processes.
  • Other position-related tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in  UX, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field 
  • Five or more years of experience in product management (with digital products or platforms).
  • Utilizing product development processes to achieve product goals.
  • Experience in UX, including developing wireframes and prototypes.
  • Extensive knowledge of user research and user testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of and experience with SRF principles and standards. 
  • Proven track record of developing product roadmaps and executing digital products.
  • Experience developing customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. 
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and user-centered design.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient in tools like Jira, Figma, analytics tools, Customer Relationship Management (CRMs), and content management systems such as Craft, Contentful, Drupal, and WordPress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital best practices.
  • Ability to navigate proficiently in a Microsoft Teams environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs desired.
  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborate with a group to develop and achieve shared goals.

Additional Details

This is a full-time, salaried-exempt position; Monday through Friday,  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PST.

The position is remote for those residing in CA, CO, TX, AZ, VT and VA. We have an office available in Los Angeles, California, if you are interested in working onsite.

No reimbursement for relocation costs offered for this position.

Pay range: $70,000 - $76,000 per year depending on skills, experience and education.
