Is Sharing and Selflessness a Part of Your Daily Life? | 2022 SRF World Convocation

Brother Bhumananda

In this material world, it is easy to lose sight of the needs of others. To be truly generous — to give to others without expecting anything in return — is a profoundly beneficial spiritual practice, one that not only brings joy and comfort to the receiver but also to the giver.

Generosity lives and thrives in countless physical and mental ways — through the offering of comfort, financial help, prayer, understanding, and forgiveness.

In this class as part of the 2022 SRF Convocation, Brother Bhumananda will discuss how we can more closely attune ourselves to the ideas of sharing and selflessness, opening doors to a richer and more harmonious way of life in God.

The 2022 SRF World Convocation is a free weeklong program of online classes on Paramahansa Yogananda’s “how-to-live” teachings and meditation techniques, guided meditations and kirtans (devotional chanting), virtual pilgrimage tours to the ashrams where Yogananda lived and communed with the Divine, and more.
